Max Grust

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Max co-founded Trinity Ridge Capital, bringing deep institutional experience across commercial real estate debt and equity to lead the firm’s investment strategy. He oversees acquisitions and value-add execution.

He previously held roles at Morgan Stanley, DoubleLine Capital, and Kennedy Wilson, working across debt originations, portfolio surveillance, multifamily equity investing, and capital structure analysis.

Daniel Trapp

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Daniel co-founded Trinity Ridge Capital, bringing a decade of institutional multifamily experience to guide the firm’s operational and portfolio strategy. He oversees capital markets, finance, governance, asset management and investor engagement.

He previously served as Co-Chief Operating Officer at R.W. Selby & Co., overseeing a $2B+ portfolio and directing capital markets, portfolio management, investor reporting, legal oversight, and corporate operations.

Jake Mazzarella

Associate Partner

Jake combines a computing and data science background with multifamily investment experience to build the firm’s sourcing and portfolio analytics platforms. He drives sourcing, underwriting, and data-driven operational execution.

He previously held roles at Certes Partners and at R.W. Selby & Co., where he underwrote multifamily acquisitions and renovations.
